These plugs rock!
Technically, most shown here are minerals, whereas some, such as lapis, tiger's iron, and unakite,
consist of several different types of minerals and are thus considered to be rocks instead.

Jade Plugs from Zoomorphic Body Designs
Green and black jade plugs with 'reverse taper' style flares.
These are old Zoomorphic Body Designs jade plugs!
Solid plumeria shapes, and hollow lotus, sunflower, and square tibet shapes are available, in 00ga to 3/4".
The carving and polish on these are phenomenal,
at a price that cannot be beat.
You just can't find plugs of this caliber on the market today!
The characteristic shapes are shown in order on the bottom row of the image above:
plumeria, lotus, sunflower, and tibet.
Plumerias are the only solid ones and have 5 petals, lotuses have 4 petals with 4 points between those, sunflowers have many small thin petals, and tibets are square-ish with indents midway on each side.
The measurement is in the center of the taper, and the back flare is 1/16" larger than that.
However, it is likely the lobe will slip towards the front, smallest side of the taper, which is smaller than the listed measurement (by around 1/32" on average). This effectively makes these have larger flares than normal, and may cause some shrinkage. One option is to wear an o-ring up against the front flare to prevent slipping up to the smallest side of the taper (click here for an image of these plugs mounted with o-rings). These would be most suitable if a wearer is well-healed at a particular size and has some flexibility.
We are open to selling all of these at one time to one person/company/wholesaler/shop.
There are now less than 10 pairs total.
Please give a call if these might be of interest as a whole.
We are willing to sell them as individual pairs as well...

or may be some other type of possibly dyed stone (like marble?).
They are not soft like the yellow stones shown next.

all the other sides are flat.
They measure 44/64" (11/16" aka 17mm) in diameter, and

The three yellow stones are made out of a very soft material, perhaps calcite.
All the yellow pieces have a little flaking at all of their edges.
All three pieces have one flat end and one convex end.
They measure from 43-44/64" (≤11/16" aka ≤17mm) in diameter, and
either 1-1/2" (38mm), 1-39/64" (<1-5/8" aka 41mm),
or 1-43/64" (<1-11/16" aka 43.5mm) in length.
$20 total for the exact 5 pieces shown,
any 4 pieces for $18 total,

≥3/4" Siberian dark green jade long cylinders
(between 1-1/8" and 1-1/4" in length)
with single incised notches on the fronts,
sort of like a screw head.
In a sample pair, each piece weighs 0.875 oz. (24.8 grams)/each.
$20/pair.
Leopardskin jasper big hole beads aka long hollow cylinders (could be used as dreadlock beads, too!).
The colors are mostly various shades of brown, but also range from salmon pinks to greys to white to black to orange. They are spotted, thus the leopard skin moniker. These have a neat texture to them, like very subtle lumps corresponding to the different minerals, rather than being polished glassy smooth.
The diameters are ≤7/8" (55-56/64" aka 22 mm),
the hole sizes are >1/2" (33-34/64" aka 13mm), and
the lengths range from between 1-1/4" and 1-5/16" (1-18/64" aka 32.5mm) at the shortest,
to 1-7/16" (aka 36mm) at the longest.

5 pieces (our choice) for $50 ($10/each),
2 pieces (our choice) for $24 ($12/each),
or just 1 piece (our choice) for $15/each.

Drilled Stones
We have a bunch of inexpensive semi-precious stone talons, cylinders, rods, and saddles. Many were intended for beads and thus some shapes have tiny holes running through them, but their shape, finish, and material are perfect for stretched piercings and they have been carefully selected accordingly. No custom orders are possible in these cheaper stone options, and these are available in the listed sizes only. Most are in pairs, though almost all can also be sold as singles. The stones may not be not right on a specific gauge measurement, as many are made in millimeters, but approximate gauge sizes have been listed.
See the wholesale page for information on quantity discounts.
The following stone plugs began as beads and thus have tiny holes:
They have now all been put on sale / close-out: only $2/pair!!!
(A through C) SOLD
(D) 6ga with <2ga flares howlite saddles (previously $6/pair)

A word about these inexpensive stones and shipping,
as these are some of our lowest-priced items:
We have held out for years in regards to not having a minimum order.
However, our rule is to not process orders where the shipping is more than the total of the products.
Thus, we do not ship out orders of just one pair of these.
Please keep in mind it takes us time to process, pack, and ship each order,
so we hope you'll find more goodies to include in your order so everyone is happy!
Thank you for your understanding.

Stone Weights, Shapes, and Rings
GREEN JADE WEIGHTS!
One-of-a-kind Siberian green jade small Dayak style
'gasing' (spinning top/pear-shaped) ear weights.
These require >3ga for insertion,
the bodies are ≤15/16" in width/diameter, ≤1-1/8" tall overall,
and weigh 0.88 to 0.91 oz. (25.0 to 25.8 grams).
$125/pair. SOLD
From the vault of things forgotten and unknown,
we are pleased to bring you... Black jade earweights!!!
Yes, this is an old-school batch of Zoomorphic Body Designs jade.
Zoomorphic squid shaped weights in black jade:
the small-ish size shown first has SOLD, but
the giant size shown second has now also SOLD
at $100/pair (25.8grams/.91oz each).
They measure around 7/16" at the wearing surface, and approximately 2" top to bottom and left to right at the widest.
This pair originally came in a wooden box, which needs repair. Please ask if you'd like it!
Nepalese quartz crystal ear weights,
shown on two different backgrounds. $60/pair.
Although measurement is tricky and an estimate only, the wearing surface is approximately 1/2".
They weigh around 0.66 to 0.72 grams (18.6 to 20.4grams)/each.
Their overall size is >1-3/8" to >1-7/16".
These are made in the Naga tribe keyhole tongpang style,
but with stair-stepped edges, like the layout of a Buddhist temple, or yantra.
The round surfaces project out in 3-D from the fronts.
New serpentine stone round dragon keyhole weights! $40/pair.
Orange brown with red (this exact pair has SOLD, but we have more), or dark brown.
Overall, the dark brown pair weighs 2.865 oz. (81.2grams) total for both pieces.
They measure 2-3/16" to 2-1/4" overall,
and require at least >3/4" for insertion.
Pale gray-green serpentine dragons with tails;
some have orange-ish brown sections.
These are modelled after ancient Chinese Hongshan culture pig dragon figures called zhulong.
Small ones as shown are $25/pair.
Stone Drops with Thin Ear Wires
Earrings with thin wire gauge sized silver hooks (18ga/19ga),
set with pendulum-shaped white and black banded onyx stones.
Front and back views of the same pairs are shown.
The right-hand pair has SOLD. $20/pair.
We may be able to set these with other silver hooks instead
that are a bit thicker in gauge size (±14ga) for an extra $5-10 per pair.
Total weight with thin hooks is around 25.6 to 28.4grams/each (.45 to .50ounces/each).
Bloodstone drop shaped earrings with silver hooks. $25-$30/pair.
Shown left is a skinner pair with >15ga but <14ga hooks.
Shown right is a wider pair with >14ga but <13ga hooks.
While these exact pairs shown with hooks above have SOLD...
...we have very similar bloodstone drops that can be used,
shown above without hooks
(note this photo is not posted at life size,
and now the right-hand wider pair has SOLD).
Here are two of the silver ear hook options:
the pair shown on the left is between 11ga and 10ga,
while the right-hand pair is around 15ga.
Because they have more silver by weight, these pairs are a bit more expensive than the options shown.
Going the other direction in size, thinner wires are also available.
Spotted Shell Earrings / Ear Cuffs
Spotted tiger cowrie shell pieces
for larger stretched ear piercings. $40/pair.
These are made out of real tiger cowrie shells (Cypraea tigris),
which are white with brown leopard-like spots,
that were cut down to make one-of-a-kind
c-shaped earrings/ear weights/ear cuffs.
The natural serration around the gap looks a little like teeth.
Although the style is like that of light ear weights,
they are not that heavy, and
function a bit more like large dangling ear cuffs.
Two different pairs are shown
(the left-hand pair that measured 1-7/16" has SOLD),
measured at the widest part of the shell
(on the apex of the convex surface).
The other pair measures 1-1/2" from left to right
from one flattened end to the other.
Ear piercings will have to be at least each of these sizes in diameter in order to wear them and have a gap of around half that size showing over the top. Larger stretched ears, such as those stretched to around 2", will look even better.
They could be worn with the spotted convex ends showing,
or the flatter white ends with the gap showing.
Note that although the shells were selected to be as close as possible to pairs, since these are natural real shells, they vary in size and shape from piece to piece. In addition, there may be some surface mars from natural wear and tear. Expect variation!
Note: the bottom pair (same as left-hand pair) has sold;
these photos are not posted at life size.

or bracelets made of out stone beads,
please visit our bracelets page.
We can sometimes get jade dice.
Thanks, and enjoy!
Note: Some stones may be manmade or treated.
These include, but are not limited to: hematite (possibly manmade, aka Hemalyke (TM), hematine, or hemalike); agate and jade (just a few are dyed, as indicated); carnelian (possibly heat treated); quartz (possibly lab grown); onyx (dyed); and goldstone (manmade, copper in glass).
Also, shells can by heat-treated, irradiated, bleached, or dyed.
Many stones consist of minerals that naturally include metals such as copper, iron, or aluminum.
Obsidian is volcanic glass that is usually black; thin sections are often translucent grey. It can have a very subtle greenish tint, but generally does not. Mahogany obsidian has a brown and black spotted appearance. Snowflake obsidian is black with grey spots. There are gold sheen, silver sheen, and rainbow sheen obsidians, which exhibit chatoyancy in these colors at certain angles of light.
Obsidian is never blue, transparent gold, or whitish opalescent colored, despite some body jewelry being mislabeled as such.
Opals contain water and can develop crazing
(a network of tiny surface fractures)
if they become too dry or are exposed to intense light or heat.
Some stones, such as amethyst, may fade in sunlight.
